This is the best dermatology and medical spa in Pittsburgh! First of all, the place offers everything from lasers to Botox, and if you are considering plastic surgery, they also have a plastic surgery division (Premier). I'm a huge fan of their services -- they are close to home, accessible, affordable, and they work. I have a number of friends who go here, and this place has dermatologists and PAs in Pittsburgh who actually understand the idea of looking subtle, natural, and in doing things right the first time. Hard to find in a city where it seems everyone feels they are qualified to open a medical spa and Botox center! Second, they offer a lot of skin care lines that are hard-to-find in Pittsburgh, and they know what they are talking about in guiding you through the lines. The products are usually medical-grade, though they offer natural-friendly products like Farmhouse Fresh that are still pretty good. I like the Skinceuticals products here -- they are always sold at retail (unlike some scammers in Pittsburgh who price above MSRP), always fresh, and always new. This is the only place in town I could find the Skinceuticals Lipid Restore Treatment, for instance, which just came out in Q1 2016. Bam, it was there. The staff is professional, knowledgable, and no-nonsense; they get it done, they answer questions, they follow up, they do it right. I'm a big fan and will continue to go here for all of the things that don't get easier with age!

I'm blown away! I got filler years ago and had swelling for a week. Zak did my filler and I have zero bruising or swelling. The staff is sweet and welcoming and my experience was great. Highly recommend!

This is hands down the only place I would go to for any plastic surgery needs as well as cosmetic needs . I have had experience in many areas ... nothing but excellent results . This is also where I go for dermatology for my entire family and extended family .

I really don't understand the low reviews. I've been to Acqua Blu a handful of times over the past couple months, and every visit was great! The two women who have done my facials and laser treatments have been very nice and knowledgeable. It's always nerve-wracking to think of someone putting a laser on your face, but they have been great and my skin hasn't looked this good in years! Prices vary depending on what you want; a facial is not going to be in the same price range as a tummy tuck!

I have been going to Acqua Blue for a number of months now and I am really satisfied with my results. Both the laser hair removal and the IPL facial laser treatments have been great. Ellen has provided my services and has shown such professionalism and skill in her field. I would recommend her to anyone needing these services. She explained everything in detail before she began and was very patient and thorough which is important to get even and positive results. I will continue to go to this facility because of her despite being repeatedly disappointed in the front office staff. First let me say that they have been very friendly on the majority of my visits. That being said, I have shown up for an appt that I had on both my phone and home calendar , only to be told that my appt had been earlier in the day and that i could not be seen. On the next appt, I was asked to fill out all the paperwork for a new client despite the fact that I had been there a number of times and had already completed these same papers and nothing had changed. Apparently my folder had been lost since my appt just a week before. Next I purchased a "special" over the phone which was billed to my credit card for three visits. Each time I go, I am asked to pay for these services despite the fact that they are prepaid. Each time it has been an ordeal to "find and correct that on the computer" Overall a very nice, clean and friendly place that can hopefully work out some front office issues.

Referred to Premier by a friend who had breast augmentation by Dr Heil. Her results were natural and experience positive. The referral was a good one for me. Dr Heil explained the procedure to me and I felt confident with his experience, vision for my surgery and also important to me was his bed side manner. i wanted a surgeon i could connect with. my results are better than I ever expected and follow-up care was never rushed . facility was impeccable and clean. like my friend I will be recommending premier to my friends and family. thank you dr heil. I love my results.

as a registered nurse and seeing many of doctor heil's patients throughout the years, i had no doubt what surgeon i wanted to consult with for my breast augmentation and tummy tuck. he is great at what he does and will give his honest feedback on what he thinks would look good and natural on your body type, which i appreciated. i can't thank him enough for the great job he did on my breasts and tummy. during my healing process, i was very cranky; i couldn't wait to get back to my normal routine. doctor heil continued to remain patient and kind with me even though i was less than desirable to be around. most of the staff at premier had procedures there themselves so they were always there for me to lend support when i needed it. i huge thank you to renee for always getting back to me so quickly. being on the patient side of things and not being the nurse, gave me a different perspective and the entire experience was one i would recommend to anyone. i want to extend a big thank you to doctor heil and his entire staff for their exceptional compassion, professionalism, and care. never doubted you, only reinforced what i already knew to be true. doctor heil, he is among the best in the business.

I have gone there several times and I am not disappointed. Ellen is wonderful and spends time with me. She is professional and spends the time to make me feel like I am an individual not just an appointment. I would highly recommend her for any procedure. You will not go wrong.

Enjoyed my experience at Acqua Blu. I had a facial done and I really love the way I look. The front office girls were so polite and friendly. My son has also seen James in the dermatology office. He LOVED him. He was very knowledgable about his condition gave us the perfect treatment option even a teenage boy could follow. I would recomend this place to everyone.

What a great place. The girls that greeted me were very warm and kind. I see Dr. Heil for a few things and he has always been wonderful to me. He and his staff are very passionate when it comes to patient care. When I leave, girls that reschedule my appointments are always very accommodating. I give this place 5 stars!

Overall a very pleasent and professonal experience!! The staff is very friendly and helpful, including everyone from the girls at the front desk to the providers.. The atmosphere is very relaxing. I have been to Premier/Acqua for a couple different procedures so I have seen different providers at the practice and I can honestly say it is so wonderful to have a clinic that offers everything in one place.

LOVE IT!! My children are patients of James, and I am a pt of Dr. Heil. I couldn't be happier with this practice. James never makes us wait- makes my children comfortable, and Dr. Heil is a perfectionist with my Restylane treatments. The front office is professional and courteous.

As many others approaching their 50-60s, I was unhappy w my hooded eyes. I no longer saw my upper eyelid while putting on make up. I looked tired and angry all the time. When I smiled, my eyes were reduced to small slits. I decided in 2019 to have a consultation at Premiere. The office is beautiful and serene, very relaxing and reassuring that this was a top notch practice. The staff was attentive and kind, as if they could feel my apprehention. Dr Heil listened to my every word, answered my questions, and explained the process in detail- prior to the procedure and through recovery. I was given an estimate and said I would "think about it." Well, I just couldn't do it. What would others think of me? How could I function while healing? What "if" something went wrong, etc Fast forward to May 2025- I made another consultation appointment and met w Dr Heil again- this time I was ready! Again, he explained in detail what to expect before, during, and after. We scheduled for December because that was a slow time for me at work and it would be easier for me to stay home during the healing process. Yes I was scared, but I did it, and could not be happier! The photos are taken day 38 after surgery, and it keeps getting better! In addition to removing the appearance of hooded eyes, I can literally see SO much better! The world is brighter and bigger. I didnt know how severely my vision was being affected. It took me several years to get the courage to have the blepharoplasty, (I had upper and lower), but I am very happy I chose Dr Heil @ Premiere, the care I received was beyond all expectations. I highly recommend them!

BEST decision I ever made. From scar revision surgery { from another PS } I thought I would just have to " live with ",....Uhhhh,...no! .... Dr Heil revised my Tummy Tuck scar to the finest THIN white scar that was nearly undetectable ! No more covering up the insecurities that I had felt. Later that year I had that same thin scar needled after it fully healed to white and it appears is as if I had never had a surgical scar at all...vanished. I have had other experiences since that time with him and have no regrets. Please feel confident to trust this surgeon for the best outcome achievable. Dr. Heil spends time with you, no matter how long it takes and the outcome has always been positive.

I had a consultation done for a procedure at the South Hills location with An(drea). We did talk on the phone prior to my visit. I appreciated that she made multiple attempts to get in touch with me, since most places just leave a message and then forget all about you. When I arrived I was given an iPad by the lady at the front desk. It took me a few minutes to enter all of my personal and medical information before I had the consult. Make sure to have lists of medications, phone numbers, lab results and such with you when you go to speed along your process. Drea was able to tell me exactly how the procedure I was interested in was conducted, how long it would take and possible side effects as well as the type of equipment that would be used. I never seemed rushed and had plenty of time to ask any questions I had. She is honestly one of the nicest people I have ever met. She has the friendliest disposition and I think anyone would feel comfortable with her performing any type of procedure. I ended up visiting the Wexford location to have said procedure done since that is where it is performed. The ladies that I encountered up there were also very nice, they seem to have q great work environment and it also makes the clientele feel relaxed and at ease. I was so happy with my visit that I will be going back to have a couple more things done. I highly recommend this Med Spa to anyone looking to freshen up how they look or feel better about themselves.

Acqua Blu is located on Rt. 19 next to Ethan Allen Furniture just north of Wexford. I have only visited a couple times, but I am already in love with this place. I see Toni for microdermabrasion and she does a fabulous job. The treatment begins with a cleansing, gentle exfoliation, a vitamin rub, facial mask, steam treatment and a hand, arm and shoulder massage. I don't believe that microdermabrasion is meant to be relaxing. However, the treatment rooms are comfortable (though very small). You have the option of removing whatever clothing you would like, but since she does a shoulder treatment, it's a good idea to get those bra straps out of the way. And the shoulder and arm massage is wonderful! She also keeps the room fairly dimly lit, but of course, sometimes you have the bright glaring facial light on your face. Microdermabrasion is painless. They use a bristle-tip head to lightly "buff" the skin, which gently lifts away dead skin cells. Directly after treatment, your skin may look a bit pink or flushed, but this has never happened to me. The building itself is beautifully decorated. Lots of treatment rooms. They don't really push to try to sell you any products. And they only mention selling you treatments when they are having special pricing. And by doing that, they are doing you a favor.

Drea has done pico treatments on my face & the results are amazing! My age/sun spots were so bad, I wore heavy make up all the time, now I only wear sunscreen. I can't say enough good things about Drea, I love her! She is so sweet, explains everything, I feel like she's a friend now.

The staff is friendly to interact with scheduling. Drea, the PA, is unbelievable!!! Received filler in lips and was gentle as a baby....and my threshold of pain is low. WOW is all I can say...and she is am perfectionist! Love the results

Dr Heil is a miracle worker in my opinion. My daughter had a cyst on her face that a dermatologist injected and destroyed the skin on her face. After around 6 surgeries she was left with a large purple scar. We went to Dr. Heil and after one surgery you can not even notice her scar! The office and staff was amazing and got my daughter and myself through a horrible time with amazing results. I have always wanted a tummy tuck and I have an appointment today, I would never trust anyone else!!

Excellent. The staff is so nice and helpful. They're with you through any procedure. They'll get you in as soon as possible and take all things with a serious medical standpoint. I had rhinoplasty there with Dr. Brian Heil and could not be more happy with the results. My follow up checkups were good and they asked me if I was satisfied and offered to fix things if I wasn't. I was so pleased with the results though and wouldn't change it. Definitely a scary surgery to go in to and they made me feel so at ease. I would highly recommend it.
